Adam and Ruth Bethany
Adam is the Director of Operations with Cru at Virginia Tech. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 and, after finishing his graduate work, started working with Cru in 2009. Ruth joined him in 2010 after they were married and they’ve been serving at VT ever since. They love college students and truly believe that students are a critical part of the gospel spreading throughout the world. Adam enjoys cycling, longboarding, disc golf, and reading. Ruth enjoys baking, reading, bubble tea, and family outings. They have two awesome little girls, Evy and Brynn.
Jerry and Katherine Riendeau
Trey graduated from Virginia Tech in 2013 with his degree in engineering science and mechanics. While he grew up elsewhere in southwest Virginia, he has now found his true home in Blacksburg, Virginia and is looking forward to helping students find deep Christian community and grow in their love of Jesus. Trey is an avid golfer and banjoist. He also enjoys hiking in the New River Valley and reading a good story.Email Trey
Rebecca graduated from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a degree in Political Science. After interning with Cru for a year she became long-term campus staff. She is thrilled to be living in Blacksburg and working with the amazing students at Virginia Tech, to reach the campus with the Gospel. Kelly graduated this past spring from Virginia Tech with a degree in Human Development and a minor in Psychology. She is very excited to have an additional year at VT to share Jesus with students, and challenge students in their faith. Kelly enjoys dance parties, hanging out with friends, being outside, playing sports, movie nights, road trips, coffee, and cheering on her Hokies!Email Kelly
Ali graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015 with a degree in International Studies and minors in Sociology and Diversity & Community Engagement. During her senior year, she led a Bible study in her sorority, Chi Delta Alpha, and realized her passion for ministry. Though she originally thought God would call her abroad, He has called her to stay in Blacksburg and she couldn’t be happier! Ali loves learning to cook, crafting, spontaneous road trips, and anything that has to do with Christmas.Email Ali
